The month of June has Come and Gone!

Work like you don't need the money, Dance like no one is watching, and Love like you've never been hurt.
I attended a wedding for Bryon's relative, Rachel and listened to this phrase spoken by Senator Tom Carper at the reception this past weekend. How true this statement is as I think about how time flies. As my title rings out, "The month of June has come and gone!"...and honestly, it felt like this happened in the blink of an eye. I pray that I can use the phrase that Senator Carper used in his speech to apply to my own life! What a wonderful reminder it is for all of us to just Live Life! Notice the phrase didn't say things like,
" Work like you don't need the money...but do worry about how you'll pay the bills," or
"Dance like no one is watching...but stop when you realize they think you look silly," or
"Love like you've never been hurt...but when times get hard, bring up the past mistakes".
I'm encouraged to know that the Lord who loves us and keeps us also desires for us to be happy! He doesn't desire for us not to go through hard times, otherwise who would ever know His perfect strength? He doesn't desire for us not to be scared, otherwise who would need to trust in Him? He doesn't desire for us not to mess up and to be perfect, otherwise why would He have gave His only son, Jesus, to die for our sins? I believe the Lord simply desires for us to live our lives, and to live them in any way possible to bring Him glory. As a christian 20 year old working towards a teaching degree, working towards not missing her boyfriend for a month, working towards a closer and more personal walk with the Lord, I am here to say that I am ready to live life, for the rest of my life! Care to join?

Thank you Lord, for the many ways you have allowed me to live life through the very fast paced month of June! Here's some examples of what I'm talking about...

Time spent with my family. (haha...They caught this thing in the yard and then let it free).

Missions Trip, Honduras
Bryon's VBS. I met Maddie and Ally there.

VBS at Union.

Bible school week at my Church.

Solida Bible School.

Dancing with Bryon, and meeting more of his relatives.

Seeing Philip and Darlene dance together.

Playing with Philip until he fell asleep on his mommas shoulder.

Enjoying two of the best roommates I've ever had.

Talking to Bryon's cousin, Tyler about how he gave his life to the Lord and meeting his sweet wife, Jennifer at Rachel and Todd's wedding.

We picked cherries too! You have such a sensitivity to God and I appreciate how you express your faith. Stay busy while Bryon is gone and maybe the time will go quicker!
